Hello, my name is Amelia. I started at Warlock tattoo as a receptionist at the start of 2016, and began training to be a backup body piercer that summer. By fall I completed an advanced piercing course in Ontario and became the full time body piercer at Warlock! It seemed like a rapid progression but turned out to be an excellent opportunity that fit well with my interests and skills. I have a lot of experience in medical settings through volunteer work at several veterinary clinics and obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. I also come from a long line of crafters; my art forms include making jewelry, homemade candles, origami, and pretty much any other random ideas that pop into my head! Making jewelry has been a passion of mine since I started doing it in elementary school, and I am still constantly expanding my abilities. Now I make a lot of custom pieces and original patterns, incorporating various techniques such as chainmail, wire work, threadwork, beading, and even origami. I am a problem solver by nature, so together we can figure out how to make your body piercings and jewelry fit your personal style. I’m at the shop Monday through Saturday for appointments and walk-ins, so stop on by and maybe add some more metal into your life!
